Malham Peregrine Project 2023 – Update

The Malham Peregrine Project is back for spring and summer 2023!

The project team will be on hand with telescopes to show visitors the resident peregrines, as well as a range of other bird species present at Malham Cove, on the following dates:

  • 19th – 20th May
  • 16th – 17th June
  • 21st – 22nd July

The viewpoint will be open from 10.30am to 4.30pm, weather permitting.

So come along and pay us a visit and see one of the most spectacular birds in the Dales!

The peregrine falcon is one of Britain’s most impressive birds of prey. Since 1993 they have nested at Malham Cove in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) and the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority (YDNPA) run the viewpoint so you can see these wonderful hunters of the sky along with many other upland birds.
